Buckeye Road, which is the southern boundary of the Central Park neighborhood, is schedule to get an upgrade with construction beginning in the Spring of 2017.  The improvements will consist of sections of new sidewalk, sidewalk ramps, driveway entrances, LED streetlights and bus shelter pads.

Reading from the flyer sent out to area residents by the City, it appears that the new sidewalks will be on a stretch of Buckeye from Central to 14th St. but only on the south side of the street.  If you have ever walked along the north side of Buckeye, you would wander why the City is not putting sidewalks on that side of the street.

An Open House is being held to further explain the improvements to area residents on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 from 5:30 to 730 PM at Lowell Elementary School, Media Center, 1121 S 3rd Ave.

24 hour Construction Hotline number is 602 956 2670.
